We intend for the Reservation Finder to help you get a reservation at roughly the time you want. If you select a specific time (rather than a meal) for your search, the Reservation Finder will detect reservations available within 60 minutes (before or after) of the time you specify. For example, if you search for 8:00 AM, the tool will find anything between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM acceptable.
If you want fine specificity, our tool is not designed to do that. Of course, if the restaurant opens at 8:00 AM, specifying a 7:00 AM search time would only return an 8:00 AM match because 8:00 AM is the only possible matching time within 60 minutes of 7:00 AM. Similarly, let's say that you're willing to eat any time between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM. You could accomplish this by setting up two requests: one for 7:00 PM (which covers 6-8 PM) and one for 9:00 PM (which covers 8-10 PM). Although you can be clever with the existing Reservation Finder tool, we do not plan to make changes to the Reservation Finder to support searches for very specific times.
Also note that in our experience Disney will accept early arrivals. While we understand the desire to have a specific reservation time when planning, the reality is that showing up a bit early will probably work out fine for you.
