The "Touring Plans Picks" rooms are the rooms highlighted by the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World, and we're not always sure why those rooms were chosen. Usually, it is location or view-based since the rooms all look the same on the inside.
Use the Room Finder to choose a room in a location that you like or that has a view you like.
For view, one member of our team likes rooms on the southeast side on the third floor: rooms 3512-3530. Those look straight into trees for the most part, but you can get glimpses of Epcot and the larger nighttime fireworks, too. There are also some lovely courtyard views on the 2nd floor, but there is a chance that you may hear some occasional noise from people walking past.
